Janet and I got the chance to see the Villa Savoye by Corbusier when we traveled to Paris November 2006.
I had a chance to drive to this FLW student's work while in Las Vegas this January.
Janet and I recently visited the Turkel House in Detroit. It is the only two story Automatic Usonian. The home takes your breath away. Here's a video by the new owners http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdziNtPhrdw
The annual 2006 Frank Lloyd Wright conference was held last week in Detroit. Janet and I saw many FLW homes and learned about radiant heating systems. The highlight of our visit was to see and visit with the owner of the Meyer House shown here. The 2007 conference will be held in Chicago.
The Boulter House was designed near the end of Frank Lloyd Wright’s life (1868-1959). The home is a unique, two-story south-facing Usonian. The "Usonian" term was coined from Wright’s vision of suburbia in the United States of North America offering well-designed homes for middle class American families.
