Springs Preserve – Las Vegas LEED Campus

Posted on Posted in LEED Buildings

From the site: The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre non-gaming cultural and historical attraction designed to commemorate Las Vegas' dynamic history and to provide a vision for a sustainable future. Known as the birthplace of Las Vegas, the site of the Preserve was once home to bubbling springs that were a source of water for Native Americans living here thousands of years ago. It also sustained travelers of the Old Spanish Trail and Mormons who came to settle the West.

This is a fantastic new 250 million dollar campus. Every possible demonstration of LEED design is displayed. There is even a Design Center where you can meet with your builder, designer or architect to select the method and materials for your project. A must see if you are in Vegas or even a perfect pilgrimage before considering a LEED or environmental project.
